Lately indiegogo has been a source of great campaigns for Blood Bowl teams. I think this is great. As long as Games Workshop doesn't update its miniatures line and allows (or should I say does not forbid) other companies to sell their own models for this game, I believe such campaigns will continue to bring us a lot of cool miniatures.
Recently we've got campaigns for most of the agility-4 teams, but now "bash-them-all" style coaches can also find a team for them: dwarfs. Definitely, one of the most controversial team in the Blood Bowl. You either love them or hate them, it's really hard to find a coach who is indifferent to this little sturdy pieces of heary muscles overloaded with all the skills other teams just dream getting after a couple of seasons.
The goal of the campaign is 3500 EUR, which it seems to be able to reach easily. For now most of the players are revealed (3D-models), including 6 blockers, 1 runner, 1 troll slayer, 1 blitzer and a deathroller. Announced but yet to be seen are the remaining positionals: 1 runner, 1 troll slayer, 1 blitzer. Team-styled ball and counter are also revieled. The following contribution levels are available (all with free shipping included):
Level 1, 7 EUR: a model of your choice with the exception of a deathroller.
Level 2, 14 EUR: the deathroller.
Level 3, 20 EUR: four dwarves of your choice plus the ball and the counter.
Level 4, 30 EUR: six dwarves of your choice plus the ball and the counter.
Level 5, 60 EUR (limited to 30): six blockers plus each of the positionals (12 models total) plus the ball and the counter.
Level 6, 65 EUR: six blockers plus each of the positionals (12 models total) plus the ball and the counter.
Level 7, 70 EUR (limited to 30): each of the models, including the deathroller plus the ball and the counter.
Level 8, 75 EUR: each of the models, including the deathroller plus the ball and the counter.
Level 9, 90 EUR (limited to 30): each of the dwarves plus the deathroller, plus four blockers of your choice, the ball and the counter.
Level 10, 95 EUR: each of the dwarves plus the deathroller, plus four blockers of your choice, the ball and the counter.
Level 11, 325 EUR: five complete teams of 13 players, each comes with the ball and the counter.
Level 12, 995 EUR (limited to 1): A full painted team used for the box art. Painted by RN Estudio.
If the campaign beats the current 3500 EUR goal the authors promise to produce extra rewards: deathroller markers, starplayers, coaches, etc.
